Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LuneMart, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have obtained parental/guardian consent. You agree to use the app in compliance with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations of India.

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must immediately notify LuneMart of any unauthorized access or breach of your account.
• LuneMart reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• One person may maintain only one account. Multiple accounts may be deactivated.

Ordering & Payments

When you place an order through LuneMart:

• Orders are subject to availability and acceptance by the supplier.
• Prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• LuneMart reserves the right to cancel orders in case of pricing errors or stock unavailability.
• Payment must be completed at the time of order placement.
• Coupon codes (e.g., FIRST100) are subject to individual terms and expiry dates.
• Flash sale prices are valid only during the specified sale period.

Shipping & Delivery

• Delivery timelines are estimates provided by suppliers and may vary.
• LuneMart is not liable for delays caused by suppliers, logistics partners, or force majeure events.
• Delivery is made to the address provided at the time of order. Address changes after order placement may not be accommodated.
• Risk of loss and title for products passes to you upon delivery.

Returns & Refunds

• Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery through the app for eligible categories.
• Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags intact.
• Category Exceptions: Certain items like groceries, perishables, personal care, and customized electronics may have different return windows or be non-returnable for health and safety reasons.
• Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
• LuneMart reserves the right to reject return requests that do not meet eligibility criteria mentioned in the product description.
• In case of a defective or wrong product, LuneMart will arrange pickup and full refund.

Supplier Terms

For users registering as suppliers on LuneMart:

• Suppliers must complete the verification process and provide accurate business documentation.
• Product listings must be accurate, including descriptions, images, pricing, and stock availability.
• Suppliers are prohibited from listing counterfeit, prohibited, or illegal products.
• LuneMart charges a platform commission on each completed sale (as communicated in the Supplier Dashboard).
• Suppliers must fulfill orders within the committed timeline.
• Repeated violations may result in supplier account suspension or permanent ban.
• Revenue payouts to verified suppliers are processed as per the payout schedule in the Supplier Dashboard.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Fraudulent orders, chargebacks abuse, or manipulation of the review system
• Posting false, misleading, or offensive product reviews
• Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the app
• Using the platform to sell counterfeit or illegal products
• Harassing other users, suppliers, or LuneMart staff
• Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotional offers
• Scraping data from the app for commercial or competitive purposes

Intellectual Property

All content on LuneMart — including the app design, logo, brand name, product imagery, and software — is the intellectual property of LuneMart or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

By submitting product reviews or user content, you grant LuneMart a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content on our platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LuneMart shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
• Product quality issues directly attributable to suppliers
• Service interruptions due to technical issues or maintenance

Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid for the relevant transaction.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of LuneMart shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

We encourage users to first contact our support team to resolve issues amicably before pursuing legal action.

Modifications to Terms

LuneMart reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Order Cancellation

• For most categories (Fashion, Electronics), you can cancel an order within 1 hour of placement or before it's shipped, whichever is first.
• Grocery & Daily Essentials: These orders cannot be cancelled once the supplier has begun processing the fulfillment due to the perishable nature of the items.
• If an order is cancelled by the supplier due to stock issues, a full refund will be processed immediately.

Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund or replacement in the following scenarios:

• The product received is physically damaged or defective.
• The product received is significantly different from its description in the app.
• The product arrived past the guaranteed delivery window.
• Missing items from a multi-item order (pro-rata refund).

Category-Specific Rules

• Groceries/Perishables: Refunds or replacements are only processed if reported within 6 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of damage/spoilage.
• Electronics: Many electronics carry a 'Replacement Only' guarantee. Refunds are only issued if a replacement unit is unavailable.
• Fashion: Standard 7-day return policy applies (unused, tags intact).
• Hygiene Products: Personal care, masks, and undergarments are non-returnable unless the seal is broken or defective.

Refund Timeline

Once a refund is approved, the funds are credited back via the original payment method:

• UPI/Wallets: 1-2 business days.
• Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days depending on your bank's processing time.
• LuneMart Credits: Instant (if applicable).
